Event Overview
Over the past years, the Saudi real estate development industry has gradually pivoted towards sustainability, in convergence with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision and the universal sustainable development goals and accords, quickly transforming the Kingdom into a major influencer in the field of green development and sustainability. With an unwavering determination to tackle the adverse effects of climate change, giga Saudi national projects are providing a blueprint for the world to observe and learn from, thus, accelerating the localization of Saudi’s SDGs.
The Saudi Green Building Forum is hosted on 9-10 October 2023 at King Abdullah Financial District’s Conference Center, Riyadh, bringing together some of the most avid advocates and supporters of the national SDGs, and thought leaders from esteemed organizations to discuss the Saudi green transformation that is shaping up to become the most ambitious in the world.
Since the beginning of its journey in 2010, the Saudi Green Building Forum has been positioning the Kingdom at the forefront of the global sustainable development industry, thus fostering dialogue amongst key stakeholders and thought leaders and enabling prosperous partnerships.
Join us at the Forum to discuss the consolidation of the local construction sector and achieving energy and water efficiency and delving into the challenges faced by the Saudi real estate development sector, the progress, and the numerous opportunities present in the market. Key stakeholders from government authorities, private developers, contractors, builders, and tech providers will be present to showcase the achievements, dissect the challenges, celebrate the breakthroughs, and collaborate on driving the Kingdom closer towards fully localizing its SDGs.

About THE ORGANISER
Since its inception in 2010, the Saudi Green Building Forum, has been at the forefront of sustainable development advocacy in the Arab region, and has played an essential role in advocating for the adoption of the global SDGs practices, principles, and methods.
By focusing on green building standards, technologies, and methods, the Saudi Green Building Forum is a prominent player in the local, regional, and global sustainable development scene. With Al-Fadl’s leadership, the forum has executed 12 successful editions of the Saudi Green Building Forum, bringing together the top change makers and stakeholders in the region, thus facilitating constructive dialogue amongst the decision makers and driving positive climate action in Saudi, to ensure the actualization of the national 2030 Vision.
With a consultative status partnership with the UN, SGBF has positioned itself as the first regional platform that advocates for the UN’s SDGs, from conservation of water and energy, to green innovation, building resilient neighborhoods and cities, and fostering solid partnership with the local, regional, and global stakeholders.
